Second Draft of Playground

We have decided to go with Landscape Structures.  Our current bid (draft #2) with the PIP Rubber is 381,093.98.  We are meeting with the contractor to find ways to make reductions to this to put it closer to our budget of $200,000.  Currently, the contractor has made a list of possible reductions which would be if it was a community build and with those it would cost 297,344.57.  The PIP Rubber costs around $86,000 of that amount.  We will try to keep this updated as we create new drafts to get it closer to our budget.

Our first presentation was to the School Board.  See our current presentation here:

This is a computer-generated rendition of our thermometer we created for our school.  Thank you to the Mille Lacs Messenger for recreating this for us and for putting it in the newspaper!

This is our Thermometer for Keeping track of Donations.  We will be keeping this updated as we reach new goals.  Our goal is $200,000, and as of April 29th, 2024 we have raised $159,500.  Our Administration signed a contract for the playground on April 26, 2024 and we will begin building in September or October.

We did not raise the full amount needed to fund our second draft of the playground, but were able to use the funds we raised to order the playground on the right.  It has all of the elements we wanted, and we can add more to it if we raise more money.  Thank you to all who contributed and who will be contributing to this final project!  We appreciate all of your support!  Our build will be in September or October, depending on when we can get the supplies in, so please consider helping with our build!
